The Journey of EverCraft: From Aerospace Engineer to Startup Founder

We are not a young team and relaunching a new startup journey now.

I used to be an aerospace engineer in a research institute. Since I was a graduate student at Tsinghua University, I kept thinking about doing something to help engineers around the world to improve their work experience and efficiency. At the end of 2017, I founded Evercraft on my own.

Like all starup teams，we yearned to be a great company which could income billions of dollor per year and change the world as soon as possible . We were very fortunate to have received support and funds from investors such as HongShan, ZhenFund, and miracleplus（YC China） in the past few years.The company's revenue and expenditure are not balanced, even though we have worked very hard for years and run out tens of millions of funds. After long and painful thinking, we decided to reorganize our team and start a new story.

Engineers are still our top priority group because the products they make are getting cooler and cooler and redefine our daily life. "Every step you take to design the future may become a big step to change the world" was our slogan. However, we have experienced too much anxiety and impetuosity in the past six years. Perhaps it's time to approach something that will benefit in the long run with a more relaxed attitude, so "making it easier for the next generation of engineers to work" becomes our new vision. Even if it just brings some relief and relaxation to engineers.

I like everything to be ship-shaped because clutter and mess make me anxious. I think the management of engineering documents must be one of the sources of anxiety for engineers as well. The core mission of Evercraft is version control of project files and to handle all file management issues in the most insensitive way. We believe that we can definitely give engineers more time to achieve success and enjoy happy moments.

Today we happily and officially announce the launch date of the basic version to all. Evercraft is a pretty simple tool and never grows to be a complex system, platform. Moreover, there is no free trial however it is not a very expensive tool. We are a minimalist startup team, focused on users who truly value our product. This recognition is not only positive feedback, but also our motivation to continue creating high-quality products.

Evercraft is meaningless unless people are glad to pay for it. We wish it could maintain decently for as long as possible, so we eager support and energy from you as much as possible.
